The Big Easy Rollergirls, New Orleans’ only flat track all-girl roller derby team, have been busy lately preparing for their first bout, coming up this Saturday, September 16.
They’re not going to let a little thing called Katrina keep them down — these ladies “skate through hell and high water”! Over the past few months they’ve had open try-outs, done carwashes to raise money and even hung out with CNN’s Anderson Cooper!
