I just heard about this fun project yesterday via the Craftzine blog. The crafty bloggers over at cake + pie and freshly{blended} have taken it upon themselves to organize a 1st Annual Holiday Ornament Swap.
The way it works is pretty simple. You sign up by November 1st, agree to make and send 8-10 ornaments to other crafters and receive 8-10 ornaments in return. You’ll receive an email from the organizers with the addresses of the crafters you’ll be sending your creations to, and you can let them know whether or not you’re willing to ship internationally or trade with only crafters in your home country.
There are already over 100 crafters ready to participate in the swap, hailing from all over the world. Join in the fun…I’ll be participating, so maybe you’ll even wind up getting an ornament made by me!
