Yesterday I received my own custom designed fragrance in the mail from Scent Design. The owner and creator, Stephen Jackson, graciously offered to blend a fragrance combo of my choice for me to try and review. I wasn’t sure quite what to expect, as I’ve never had any sort of custom-blended perfume before, but I am very pleased with the result!
My new fragrance smells exactly like me, which I suppose should be expected from something that was custom made to my specifications. I went with a blend of coconut and almond, with a hint of lime. The fragrance has a wonderful nutty sweetness with a note of tangy citrus. Last night after I put some on, I kept catching myself sniffing my wrist over and over to be reminded of the lovely scent.
There are two options for blending your own custom Scent Design. You can purchase a 1 ounce bottle with up to 5 blended fragrances for $20 or a 1/3 ounce roller bottle with up to 3 different scents for $10.
There are currently over 40 different fragrance choices to create your own blend from. The website offers a recipe list of fragrance blends chosen by previous customers, but you should use this list for inspiration…there are so many possible combinations that you’re sure to be able to create something unique and perfectly suited for you.
