My wonderful sponsors at Manor Hall Soap Company generously sent me a ton of samples recently for me to try out. For the last week or so I’ve been testing all sorts of soaps, facial cleansers, lotions and lip balms.
The folks at Manor Hall Soap Company make all of their natural bar soaps by hand in small batches, using the cold process and blending in essential botanical oils to create relaxing scents. They create a huge assortment of bar soaps, including soaps for sensitive skin, exfoliating soaps, and soaps with seasonal scents.
There’s much more than just bar soaps available though, including hand soaps in both liquid and foaming varieties. I’ve loved using the Sinksiders Foaming Hand Soap in Lavender and Mint.
I’ve also been really pleased with one of the other foaming products they sent me – the In Your Face Natural Foaming Facial Cleanser. The regular blend contains tea tree oil and lemon essential oil, so I immediately felt the cleansing affects on my skin. The first time I used it though, I was worried it might dry out my skin. I was surprised and delighted, however, when it actually made my face feel super soft and smooth. There are also gentle
and deep pore cleansing varieties of the foaming facial cleanser, plus a bar soap made just for your face, so they’ve got a cleanser made for just about any skin type.
Order anything off of their site during the month of November and you’ll get a free Lip Skippers lip balm.
You can also earn vouchers to spend as you please on their site by taking a picture of one of their bar soaps in famous locations for their Around the World page. I brought some of the soaps they sent me down to the French Quarter last week and grabbed a few shots around Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde.
