In my case, it was spurred by my parents getting divorced. I never went back to high school after 10th grade. As soon as I turned 17, I took the GED and enrolled in college. I just got bored and felt like I wasn't learning anything new, and because of the backwards way my school system was, they wouldn't let me skip ahead and take senior level classes as a junior. So I just stopped and started taking college level classes instead. :P Allen - same to you, thanks for stopping by here!
