Now that I’m all riled up over the DailyCandy/Wal-Mart thing, I think I should probably clear my head and refocus on positive thoughts and action.
I also got something a bit more inspiring in my inbox this morning: Co-op America sent out a newsletter linking to their 12 Step Plan for Climate Change. Some of the steps are things that we as individuals can begin taking action on immediately (for instance, drive less). Some of them will need the help of elected officials and big business, including car companies and energy companies.
Help spread the word. Post about the 12 Step Plan in your own blog. Write your elected representatives and e-mail friends and family.
Mark your calenders now for Saturday, April 14, the National Day of Climate Action. Check out Step It Up 2007 to find or help organize a rally in your area. I’m trying to get in touch with person organizing the New Orleans rally to see what I can do to help.
