A new site for all things green, eco-friendly, and sustainable just launched today. It’s called Green Options, and it aims to be a comprehensive source for news and information concerning green living and the environment.
I had the chance to poke around the site while they were still in beta, prior to today’s official launch, and things are looking better around here every day.
There is a wiki-based Green Life Guide, which will become an even greater resource time, as wikis are only as good as the people who contribute to them. There is also a regularly updated blog, discussion forums, and the Green Report, which features the freshest green news.
I still prefer Treehugger as a one-stop green shop, but hey, even they had to start somewhere. I think Green Options is definitely on the right track to becoming a really great source for eco-friendly info and news. I know they’ll be releasing additional features shortly, so I’m keeping them on my radar and I’ll be checking in to see how the site develops.
