Lately my life has been so hectic I find myself dreaming of lazy days at the beach. Last summer my only bikini broke and I’ve since been keeping it together with a safety pin. I’ve found myself window shopping for two-piece swimsuits and telling myself that summer and a vacation aren’t really too far off.

Poppi Swim & SportLuckily we’re planning a trip to Portland in May, just in time for bathing suit season. And what’s in Portland, you may ask? Why it’s Popina Swimwear, an independent swimwear boutique specializing in retro style bikinis, one pieces and tankinis.

Designer Pamela Levenson creates vintage inspired swimsuits that are flattering for all body types. Custom sizing and tailoring is even available, so you can be sure that a bathing suit from Popina will stay in place and look great whether you’re taking a dive or just lounging around poolside.

The Popina swimwear website was just launched recently, and e-commerce will be available very soon. Plenty of the styles are available to browse through on the site, although there are even more in the shop in Portland.

Personally, I think I’ll wait for my upcoming trip to purchase a suit, because I’m in love with so many of the styles! I think I’ll just need to try some on to figure out what I really like the best.

Bikini? What is that? Two-piece? What is that? You go, girl, and get that tiny suit.

    Something to say?
