One of my absolute favorite blogs (and one of the very first indie shopping blogs), Modish, just opened the doors on its new online boutique yesterday — Modishoppe.
Jena, the lovely lady behind Modish, has been putting a ton of work into the Modishoppe, and it shows! The site looks really great…clean & stylish, user-friendly, easy to navigate. Plus it’s already stocked with
tons of amazing goodies, and knowing Jena, she’ll keep it stocked with plenty of fabulous stuff.
Browsing the shop last night I was struck by these asymmetrical fleur-de-lis earrings. Of course, being a NOLA girl I’m apt to notice anything fleur-de-lis themed immediately. But a New Orleanian’s love for the symbol aside, I think these are really cool. I’m a huge fan of asymmetry, so I love how one earring is on a stud and the other is a earwire, but they still match perfectly. These make me wish I didn’t have such problems wearing earrings, otherwise I’d probably have already snatched them up!
