Artisan Jewelry

artisanjewelry.jpgThis gorgeous Garden Party necklace caught my eye this morning as I was browsing Etsy. (Which is probably the last thing I should be doing, as I’ve got a million things to do before I leave for San Francisco on Friday.)

But seriously though, isn’t it beautiful?? I love the variety of shapes, colors, and textures incorporated into this stunning piece by Sandra Eileen.

She uses such fabulous materials in her work: turquoise, mother of pearl, Czech glass, freshwater pearls, olive jade, swarovski crystals… the list goes on.

This necklace is just one of many one-of-a-kind handmade creations available in her Etsy shop, Artisan Jewelry, where there’s free shipping for a limited time only. You can find out more about her work at her blog.

As a large woman, I have always tried to dress, more subtle, lso as not to be noticed. But after discovering Sandra Eileen’s jewelry at a local boutique, I have changed my life – I wear color, lovely multi-strand necklaces and big, dangling earrings and I am loving it.
