The link to Locher’s has been spreading amongst my female friends like wild fire in the past few days. I’ve seen it popping up on Livejournal and Myspace, along with in my inbox. And who can blame them for wanting to share this incredible site?
Locher’s features delicate embroidery designs on classically styled blouses. What makes them truly unique is the firecracker comments embroidered alongside birds, coffee cups, and flowers; with sayings like, Sorry Darling, Good Girls Don’t Swallow (featured at right) or I Don’t Play Nice you’ll certainly be stealing a couple of glances from passerbys!
Locher’s was started by Nicole Locher, a Swiss girl who started her line in Paris. Locher was inspired by the items she found in Parisian and London flea markets, along with the delicate embroidery designs found on her grandmother’s handkerchiefs. She founded this line with the intent of the items being “perversion with a touch of class.” That’s just the way I like things.

I adore these shirt! Jen had them on Indie Fixx a while back. Too bad large is as big as they come. Big girls don’t play nice, either!
Susan– I agree with you on the sizing! Large is very flexible in some of them, but even the biggest one, I still am flustered to think I’d fit in to. And boy do I know that I don’t play nicely
Oh. My. God.
I am in love with these. Thank you for the link. I feel like I absolutely must have these.
I do some embroidery myself and may feel the need to try my own hand at something similar. I couldn’t tell from the site; do you know if these are hand- or machine-embroidered?
Wow. Loooooove it.
