Since I originally wrote this post over 2 years ago, I've learned more about all of the complexities about what can and cannot be labeled "fair trade", but I still don't know all there is to know, by far! I was just going by what the company promotes itself as - although I know that the "fair trade" terminology often gets tossed around, whether accidentally or on purpose, when it isn't totally accurate according to the rigorous certification standards. I wish I knew more about this specific instance, but I guess that's something that would have to be taken up with the company.

Phillip – good question! Anita, if something is made from 100% all natural latex rubber, which comes from rubber trees, then it should be biodegradable by definition, right?

Jeannie & Bridget, it’s great to hear that these are so comfortable!

Anita, if something is made from 100% all natural latex rubber, which comes from rubber trees, then it should be biodegradable by definition, right?

By: Anita

<guid

As you can see even the manufacturer doesn't claim they are 100% Rubber and there is no mention of this supposedly "biodegradable grade" rubber

The original Feelgoodz <a

I think I could walk a lot in these without getting blisters anywhere! I may have to order some different colors!

After I read this I had to get some.
