Last night we went to see my mom for her St. Patty’s Day birthday. She has the most adorable little long-haired Dachshund. (And I’m normally SO not a fan of Dachshunds — my sister used to have one that drove me crazy.) Every time I stumble across the adorable handmade pet products from Annie’s Sweatshop it reminds me of my mom’s pooch, because all of the models that Annie uses are her cute little weiner dogs!
Annie makes earth friendly dog collars, leashes, harnesses, doggy beds and more out of her home studio in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. She makes cool collars and leashes from recycled silk neckties, using 100% renewable cotton webbing to make them sturdy. Her doggy beds, scarves and coats are created from fleece made from recycled plastic. Plus, Annie offers a $5 rebate if you recycle your old collar with her! Pretty cool, no?
