Genna, a self-proclaimed longtime reader of this site, wrote me a few days ago to let me know about Neuaura Shoes. As Genna puts it, Neuaura provides “awesome vegan, eco-friendly shoes (which are actually affordable!)”.
Thanks for the tip Genna! I went to check out the site and was extremely pleased with what I found there. All sorts of classic styles, from work-friendly pumps and flats to sexy heels and sandals. All of the shoes by Neuaura are completely free of any animal by-products, they’re manufactured in a factory that is certified with Brazil’s “Green Seal” of approval and which also uses locally sourced materials, and Neuaura donates 10% of all online sales to charity.
Genna let me know that when she needed some sizing info, she received great customer service directly from the company’s founder, Arti Upadhyay. She notes that the shoes she ordered are “quite fabulous. They wear a lot like real leather and have soft insoles.”
It’s so nice to hear about companies like Neuaura! They’ve got great style and a great mission. I’m so glad Genna tipped me off to them!

What a great assortment?
What is it about Brazil & shoes? So many great companies come out of there with sustainable factories, great recycling, and a lot of vegan options too…. like Melissa as well. Corso Como is leather, but dyed with sustainable dyes & in a green factory too.
