I was checking out the Queen Bee Creations website yesterday and I’m so excited by some of their newest designs! I’ve got one of their poppy bags that I picked up at least five years ago and it still looks great. What’s really exciting is that they just launched a new line of seven different bicycle pannier bag styles, including the poppy design! Just think how cute these would look strapped to your bike!
I’m also absolutely in love with the new Isos style of Queen Bee’s signature trucker and truckette messenger bags. AND I love Queen Bee’s announcement that as of September 1, 2009, their entire line will be constructed almost entirely of PVC-free materials. A great move because I love their stuff, but PVC… not so much.
What started in founder Rebecca Pearcy’s bedroom in 1996 has evolved into one of the biggest success stories from the indie design & craft world. All Queen Bee Creations are instantly recognizable and everything is still made by hand in Portland, Oregon, although Rebecca has a few helpers at this point.
