Ever since I saw Liz Grotyohann of Cosa Verde post these needle and thread earrings on Modish recently, I’ve been smitten. I swear, if it wasn’t for the fact that I already wear my octopus tentacle earrings almost every day, these would totally be on my “must have” list right now.
Aren’t they just amazing? The needle is made from 14 karat gold-filled wire and threads through your ear. The spool is wrapped with embroidery floss, which can be swapped out with new thread whenever you please. (You can make it match your outfits!) I own these and LOVE them. Mark is a wonderful artist and they are even more exquisite in person. (Incidentally, I also own a pair of the octopus tentacle earrings.)
