Trendhunting Weekend Round-up

by MissMalaprop on November 14, 2009

I’ve recently discovered the joy that is Trendhunter. I first noticed it a few weeks ago when someone else there linked to my post about handmade home shopping parties. I was contacted the other day about potentially doing an interview with them, so I checked out the site and decided to sign up and start, ahem, trend hunting. It’s fun! You can see a couple of my first Trendhunter posts, about prix-prix’s necktie necklaces and the Million Baby Crawl, or all my trends at www.trendhunter.com/MissMalaprop.

Necktie Necklaces by Laura Skelton of prix-prix

I’ve had so many great updates from designers about their new looks for fall/winter come through my inbox in the last couple of days, I thought I’d try to squeeze a few in here. You guys are just all too talented!

rose la biche plume hoodie

New hoodless hoodies from rose la biche are out in time for winter and gift giving. I would not be opposed to any of these turning up under my tree at Christmas time, let me tell you!

ethical MIA tee in grey stripes, green and pink made from recycled materials by heidi & seek

Hayley from Heidi & Seek has just relaunched her online store. As she explains, “Instead of creating complete one offs, I’ve decided upon five styles to make up in different sizes and fabrics so no one misses out. Each piece is still one of a kind and I’ll be adding new styles every so often from now on.” I love the new streamlined look!

Every Little Counts winter 2009

Every Little Counts has relocated to NYC and launched a new collection inspired by teen cult films of the 1950s. I always love their sexy yet simple to wear tees and the new collection for winter 2009 is no exception!
