What really caught my eye about the work of jewelry artist Meaghan Aires was… well, her work! She calls her company Artulia Jewelry, “artistic design with a modern line”.
As I explored more, oohing and ahhing over her beautiful contemporary jewelry creations, I wanted to learn more about her background. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that she attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where she got her B.A. in Studio Art and Art History! That’s the same school that my best bud, Ashe, went to for her masters in Arts Administration! I also think it’s really cool that Meaghan’s mom is an accomplished jewelry artist in her own right – Meaghan is carrying on a family tradition!
