A limited amount of ad space is available to independent artists & eco-friendly businesses. I offer affordable advertising options for small businesses, including banner ads and a limited amount of sponsored posts. Banner ads will display near the top of the sidebar at right.
A limited amount of sponsored posts are also available exclusively to artists and small handmade or eco-friendly businesses. These are permanent blog posts, like this one, which get your business in front of my readers and also serve as great search engine juice for your website! Sponsored posts are still subject to editorial discretion – I will only create sponsored posts for the types of businesses I would normally feature here anyway. If your site is not a good fit for Miss Malaprop, you will be notified and refunded. Each business will only be permitted to purchase 1 sponsored post within a 6 month period.

Miss Malaprop also participates in a limited number of affiliate programs. I only choose to work with businesses that I feel fit in with my ethic and mission statement. If you represent an affiliate that you feel would be a good fit, please contact me.
Blog Disclosure Policy
In 2009 the FTC created new guidelines governing bloggers like myself and the way we disclose when we have been paid to say something nice about a company or sent a free product in hopes of a good review.
Here’s the deal: Ever since I started Miss Malaprop in 2006, I have only written reviews or accepted paid sponsorships from companies that I honestly feel good about. I have been approached by certain companies in the past that I didn’t feel were a good fit for what I cover here (that is, products and topics that pertain to a handmade & eco-friendly lifestyle). When those companies approach me, I politely decline their offers. All content here, and all opinions stated here, are my own, honest thoughts. If a company sends me something for free to review, I state that when I write about their product. I do also participate in a handful of affiliate programs, where I may link to a product and if a purchase is made after following that link, I will get a small percentage of the sale price. That said, I will ONLY link to products I feel good about.
I like to think that I’ve built up a nice little community around here, and I would hate to lose your trust. I promise that I will never do anything to intentionally jeopardize that trust.
