Swiss artist Helen Lagger contacted me to let me know about her alter ego, Novelline. Helen first created this character in 1998, and she’s been evolving ever since. She says that Novelline is “sometimes sweet, sometimes angry but always a rebel without a cause.” Novelline’s style and mood changes often, just like a real girl, but Helen says that “she can always be recognized by her beauty spot, the long lashes and how she combines innocence with anger, desire or weltschmerz.”
Helen has a fun shop full of different products featuring her favorite character creation, in all of her various incarnations. I love this girl’s style!
