Last Saturday morning, David & I finished up my new Star Wars Death Star Fascinator just in time for me to wear it to the Krewe of Tucks parade! (Well, not quite, I still need to finish the edges with bias tape and hide all the stitches, but I wore it anyway.) It was a joint effort – I did most of the sewing bits and David did the Death Star and TIE fighter bits.
We marched with the Bast Alpha Garrison of the 501st Legion, and I got to be the flag girl, carrying the Imperial flag.
Hope y’all had a fabulous Mardi Gras!
