This past semester of school, I found myself eating out far more often than normal– with the rigorious schedules we all had, it was often the only time we could find to eat at all. More disconcerting than the extra pounds I added was the amount of trash I was tossing out.

togoware.jpgHad I known how much waste I could have prevented, I would have invested earlier on in To-Go Ware. To-Go Ware provides high quality, environmentally sustainable eating utensils that you can take in to your local eatery, fill ‘er up, and take out. The To-Go Ware stainless steel food carrier is stylish as it is earth friendly, and if you’re tired of plastic forks and knives, you can add on the Bamboo Utensil set.

If bright colors are more your thing, then Laptop Lunches might be the place for you. Each kit is a puzzle of containers and boxes, all encouraging you to recyle and reuses your eating utensils. You can even build your own kits, based on your needs.

Very cool! I hate taking Styrofoam home with me. The price is just right too :)

Heylo, it’s Leslie of Feisty Elle. It was great to see you at Maker Faire!

I’ve been searching for great (non-plastic, recyclable) containers too and I’m checking out these Snack Boxes by SIGG that come in 2 sizes:

I bought a kit from Laptop Lunches for my daughter’s school lunches and I just love it! Highly recommended!
