grey plaited front dress by Anja StehlikI often find myself daydreaming about living in London. I spent a month there in July 2004 and I loved every minute of it. I’ve always been a huge Anglophile, so while I’m sitting here daydreaming, I thought I’d bring you some great independent shops and designers that are based in the UK:

For handmade one-stop-shopping, check out Bettyjoy. This online shop features housewares, toys, jewelry and accessories, and it’s all 100% handmade! Based in “a little cottage in the North of England”, this is a one-woman operation full of lovely treats crafted by designers from all over the world!

Another great new online boutique is Mount Republic. They’ve got plenty of cute stuff from brands like Crowded Teeth, Paul Frank and 31 Corn Lane, plus right now they’re having a huge sale - up to 70% off across the entire stock!

If you’re looking for gear that’s a little less cute and casual and a bit Swank lightning boltmore urban chic, check out the clothing of Anja Stehlik. I really like some of her military inspired coats, and the dresses are unique experimentations in form and design.

Finally, for super fun jewelry take a peek at This Charming Girl and Swank. Both sites are filled with many playful pieces at pretty inexpensive prices. I really like the colorful lightning bolt earrings from Swank. You can even choose your own colors at her Etsy shop.

That dress has a kind of ’santino rice’ flavah.

Hahah, I can totally see that.

Now you’ve gone and made me wonder when the next season of PR will be starting…

As long as Tim Gunn shows up, I’m good. Carry On, PR.

The girl in the picture is so beautiful, i want a girlfriend as cool as that : )

    Something to say?
