louiseblackcorset.jpgI’m so glad I stumbled across Louise Black’s shop on Etsy. She is one of the artists that most stood out for me a couple of years ago when I was browsing at Stitch, the indie craft fair in Austin, TX. I remember loving her creepy yet strangely elegant Gothic Victorian style.

Take one of her signature pieces for instance: this Cameo Corset is trimmed with black lace detail and features a Jolly Roger skull. I’ve never seen a collection of corsets quite like hers, and believe me, I’ve seen a lot of corsets.

She does more than just corsets however. Check out her decadent wrist and arm cuffs as well as some other truly fabulous clothing and accessories offered up in her shop.

Do you know the panic that inbeds itself in to me when I find affordable and pretty corsets, Malaprop? Do you? Do you realize I’m now hyperventilating because I NEED ONE?

Something to say?
