Mallory Whitfield speaking at Wordcamp New Orleans in 2016

Hi! My name is Mallory Whitfield.

As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about creativity, innovation, education and critical thinking skills. I believe in cultivating diversity, in all its forms. I believe that one person can make a difference and that everyone can be that person.

I started blogging in 2001 and I began running my own business and selling at craft shows in 2004. I even wrote a book about it. I've also run my own e-commerce store in the past, so I’ve been on both sides of the fence as a handmade, indie biz owner. I worked as Content Analyst at FSC Interactive, a leading digital marketing agency, prior to taking on my current role as Director of Marketing at LookFar, a New Orleans-based startup studio which builds digital products and visionary companies. In 2016, I was honored to be included in the 19th class of Gambit’s 40 Under 40, which salutes the brightest innovators, artists and professionals in New Orleans.

I love teaching and empowering other creatives and business owners. I speak about digital marketing and creativity, and I am available for speaking engagements at your next conference or workshop. And if you need a dose of entertaining performance art at your event? I can do that too. Contact me!

“Whoah, DIY SEO Bootcamp was informative! My website is relatively new, but I'm always looking to tweak, improve, and generally make things better for all of you looking at my work. If the next two sessions with Mallory Whitfield are just as informative, get ready for some great changes (and I might need another notebook!)!”
