We went out last night to celebrate my friend Hope’s birthday! Even though it was Pi Day (3-14), she celebrated with a berry Chantilly cake instead! (Which was delicious!!) This is the beautiful birthday girl about to cut the cake. (She’s wearing the Honey Dress by Trashy Diva, paired with a cute sweater over it!)
It was my first chance to wear my new Her Fifties Sundress by eShakti. This is my second dress from them; my first was my bird dress! I picked this one out because who doesn’t need another little black dress?? (Although it also comes in a bright red or darker crimson color!) With spring and summer right around the corner, I know I’ll get a lot of use out of this little sleeveless number. Plus it’s got an elastic panel in the back for comfort. I probably need a strapless bra to wear with it, because I had just a little black lace peeking out of the corners of the bust-line, but I didn’t necessarily mind it?
eShakti has a great contest going on right now which I posted about yesterday. They also gave me a discount code for my readers. You can use the code MSSMLPRP at checkout for 20% off until March 20, 2013. There’s also a deal on their homepage right now – order 2 items and get the second item for 50% off! That’s a pretty sweet deal! That offer is also good through March 20, 2013.
I had also just picked up a new pair of flats earlier in the day. We got them in at Trashy Diva a couple months back, and one of my co-workers has them. I’ve been eyeing them for awhile, and I’ve been in need of a pair of neutral flat shoes to wear to work. These fit the bill perfectly – they’ll go with tons of stuff, but they still have some pizazz! Plus they’re really comfy to boot!
I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
